I recently got HDD Health, and it's reporting one of my HDD's temps at 35ºC (95ºF). This sounds really hot...should I be worried?
Yes, then you would have problems. The reason why HDD temps can't be as high as cpu temps is because the air inside the drives expands, causing the drive head to move closer to the disk, causing weird and wonderful magnetic effects (oh, and data corruption...).OvenMaster said:If the HD goes over 55°C/131°F, then worry.
