So Im not entirely sure what happened, but heres whats going on now.
I tried to RAID0 2 Seagate 750GB HDDs. I did everything correctly in bios, trust me I triple checked it twice! When I booted my PC up Intel rapid storage detected both drives as RAID0. This lasted for an entire 2 minutes! So intel rapid storage detected a problem with the RAID, and the disks wouldn't show up on my computer or in Disk Management. So I turned the PC off, set them back to default and booted back up. Heres where the problems began.
One of the drives kept giving me an Access Denied error when I tried to format it in disk management. The second one was fine though. I looked around, nothing on the web helped my problem. I ran killdisk for over 80 hours and it did absolutely nothing. Then I read that maybe switching the port on the Mobo might help, well that made it worse. The drive that gave me the access denied error started making a weird high pitched whistling noise. It was so bad I unplugged it entirely. Now the second drive isn't even showing up anymore, and my 1tb primary is showing up as if its RAID ready. I can't get my 750 HDD to work, and would very much love to have it. Im down to 200gbs on my primary :/
Anways, does anyone have any ideas what can be happening. Im going to just assume the 750gb that was whistling is bricked so that my new paper weight, but whats up with the other?
