Just to give you an idea of my setup, I have a 22" monitor hooked up as my primary through a DVI cable. I also have my TV hooked up to the card as a secondary screen via HDMI. The problem is, my friends and I like to watch movies on the TV, so I run them over the HDMI, but the sound plays through my PC speakers, which are about 10 feet away. I tried the aux in cable on the TV, but it doesn't work, so I think my only option is to use an audio loop cable. I was wondering if having the audio loop cable permanently attached would disable my PC speakers when I'm not using the TV. I don't want to have to keep taking it in and out. Thanks!
