Hey all,
ive got a 21.5" inch full HD VGA/HDMI supported monitor. It doesnt have inbuilt speakers. I also have an ATI Radeon HD 4350 512MB DDR2. I am only using a VGA cable on it now, but if i get a HDMI cable, will i still be able to use my normal speakers, and will the HDMI bring out the true HD graphics?
Is HDMI better than VGA?
Thanks

HDMI and DVI ports are better to use than VGA. You will also be able to use your normal speakers, which I assume are coming from the analog out on your soundcard or from the onboard sound.

Just don't spend much on an HDMI cable. If you go to the store and they try to convince you to buy a really expensive cable they are full of it. It's all digital signal. It's like buying a very expensive USB cable.
