the best resolution you can get is what it ways on the pdf file. 1366 x 768. computer monitors usually have higher resolutions than tvs of the same size. but i dont see why you cant run a 16:9 ratio. i havent had any problems running 16:9 on my tv from my laptop using a vga cable.

what cable are you currently using and how long is it. some cables cannot carry higher resolutions over a great length.

also what is your current resolution? the easiest way to change you resolution is (im assuming youre using vista) right click the screen go to personalize > display settings and then move the slider to the desired resolution.

My LCD TV has VGA in but only supports 3:2. And RCA/SVHS is out of the question if you plan to use HD resolutions. Try a DVI to HDMI cable
