headphoens problem

I know the title is a little misleading but English is not my best side.
I have a problem with my computer with connection 3.5-millimetre in the front that I can't hear music and all of that, but if I connect my headphones the back of my computer I can hear music and all of that. Anyone know what is the problem? thanks in advance.

Probably either don't have the front panel connector attached or wrong sound setting for playback. Open the case and verify cable is attached to motherboard.

You usually have to select the front panel output in audio settings.
