What does this mean? Bluntly, manufacturers can now tell retailers how much they can sell their goods for, or not sell them at all. This overturns a 96 year old antitrust law.
Manufacturers can now legally forbid retailers from offering discounts on their products. Justice Kennedy says that competition can come from offering retailer services. Like what?? Free shipping? Extended warranty? Free installation? Anything but a lower price!
Nice how they slipped this in under the radar with all the flak about immigration!
