ATI 9800XT Video Card
2 gigs of pc3200 crucial ram
250gig WD hd
Ok, so I am having a problem with my video card. It is getting very hot, it used to be in the 60's (C) idle and would go up to about 82-83 max. I havent played video games in a while and today i checked the temps on my mobo and vid card, the vid card is at 84C idle and will go all the way up to the mid 90's with full load. The fan on the vid card is at 134% (according to ATItool). Does anyone know what could be wrong that it would change like this, especially since i havent played video games in a few months?
Along with that (dunno if it's linked but kind of weird), is my cpu temp is at about 30C idle (used to be in 40's, and odd because the 3.2 socket 478 p4 get's very hot), and will go up to mid 50's full load.
