heat sink just fell off

So I have a franken-computer from the ages that man wrote on stone to transcribe information for future reference. My heat sink, all of a sudden, was laying on top of my motherboard. I was wonder if 1. It is worth fixing the computer (estimated $200-$300 value for desktop) and 2. Where would I be able to get an older heat sink model that may/may not match my computer? Thank you very much.
 
Best bet for real old gear is probably ebay. Someone may have exactly what you need. Alternatively, you may be able to find an after market heatsink that has an adapter to fit your socket.
