Heatsink fan covering ram

Just wondering is it ok that my scythe ninja's fan is covering one of the ram? I mean the crucial ballistix design has like gaps on the top of its ram but my heatsink fan is covering it. Is that ok?
 
What do you mean? The heatsink is overtop of the ram? It shouldn't be an issue, as long as they aren't touching. Most people with big coolers have issues with that, but as long as it fits, it is fine.
 
As long as it's not physically touching the RAM, I wouldn't worry too much about it. You may want to check the heat levels around it at first to be sure nothing's getting too hot...
