heavy CPU fan

i just installed a Thermalright XP90 CPU cooler and it seems very heavy. is there any possibility of the processer being ripped from the motherboard when the tower is moved around alot?

Yes it's quite heavy, and as it do exceed the maximum recommended weight on the socket it ain't the best cooler for people who transport their computers constantly for lan's etc, however as long as you handle the computer with care (who doesn't) you should be fine. Just avoid any 'sudden move' that could cause unnecessary strain on the socket.

you can reinforced it by doubling the bracket, 1 behind the MOBO and 1 that would attach to the MOBO tray so it would be stable.
