Okay, so my computer is randomly shutting down while running a game.

My thoughts lead me to either vid Card or psu

I have a 600W Stealthxsomethingorother OCZ PSU
4gb G.Skill 800 RAM
C2 e6750 2.66
DFI P35 Blood Iron MoBo
EVGA 8800GT KO

the ram is good; tested numerous times.
checked all connections.

but still the same problem.

any insight?

Have you been monitoring the cpu and other temps at all? One first thought is an overheating cpu or video card causing sudden restarts. OCZ makes great supplies while the StealthXStream line is their lower end line there. The GameXStream lineup will take a pounding and not even glince.

Your first concern there however since gaming or placing any other good load will see the cpu and other hardwares run warmer then idle is to look at what temps you are seeing. If you have a stock heat sink/fan combo on you may have to go for a good 3rd party cooler as well as looking at how well the case itself is cooled with the fans it has.
