ok guys heres the story, yesterday i edited my boot file to get rid of some of the things that i don't want. Today, my computer doesn't boot up anymore I used the xp boot cd but it won't load and it says "your computer has been turned off to prevent any damage" WTF?

can you get to the recovery console? if so, run the fixboot command

ok now that i can get to the recovery console and i ran the fixboot command...still doesn't work. It just blanks out at the menu where it use to display the os menu.
