Hi !

How can i replace Msvcrt.dll in windows\system32 ? I tried to copy, i tried to close any program first, also i tried in Command prompt mode and in Safe Mode, but nothing, is same message "Cannot copy msvcrt.dll: It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again.". What to do ? I have WinXP.

Not for c++, for DirectX 10. I have installed, Assassin's Creed for dx10, not working, same as Crysis. Russian has fixed "DirectX10_RC2_PreFix3", and they say you may play Crysis, Stalker ...ext., but not true. I have this option, and i must try it.

Why not ? Vista is just marketing move of Microsoft. It's similary with WinXP.
Most programs on WinXP works on Vista. Do you know how to replace old msvcrt.dll ?

Why ? If DX10 works, i don't see why is not the real thing ?

It's not impossible, i heard that Linux programmers, can make DX10 for XP.

Hi,
Restart your computer and keep tapping the F8 key (if this doesn't work try the F5 key).
The Windows Advanced Options Menu will appear.
Select Safe Mode using the up/down arrow keys.
Press Enter.
Log on with an account that has administrator priviledges, usually your own account (NOT the account named Administrator).

Now try copying the file

Not working. It's always used.

Unlocker can't do nothing, processes like "lsass.exe" can't be detached from system, it's always used.
