Help - acer aspire 5315

i have a aspire 5315 but when it had vista on it you couldn't connect to it from other computers it said access dinned.

now i have put XP on it and i have the same problem. :confused:

my guess is that there is a security thing you have to switch to OFF in the admin tools of the control panel, but dont quote me on it.

Sound: Harmon/Kardon 2.1 Stereo Speakers with 5-inch Subwoofer
Printer: HP Deskjet D2530
Card reader: 16 in 1 card reader held in 5.25” drive with a block of cedar wood
