I just got a Microsoft/Razer Habu laser gaming mouse and I absolutely love it. But I cant configure all the buttons how I like in say World of Warcraft...its not just with this mouse it seems I have had this problem with all mice I have tried.

My mouse has 7 configurable buttons. The 2 on the side of the mouse configure in game just dandy...its the 2 buttons on top that are normally reserved for DPI switching (up and down) that wont bind to a key.

WHat I want to do is just set the DPI to one setting...when I get in my game I want to assign those DPI buttons to other things...but it just wont let me. Its like the game doesnt recognize those 2 buttons as configurable options.

I have tried going into the mouse software and changing the default functions of those buttons and that works fine...but when I get back in my game i still cant configure them.

Its wierd that I can configure the side buttons just fine...but not the top ones.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

It's possible those two buttons are supported in the game engine... Most mice don't have those buttons, so the game might not be able to recognize what they are (I only have 5, if you count clicking the middle scroll wheel...) I would see if there's a patch out that can fix this, if not I would say you'll just have to live with it as is...
