Help Building A Gaming PC

Hey guys, I am new to the site and to building PCs for gaming, so hopefully you guys could help me. I am looking for something that is able to run games like Battlefield 4, Far Cry 4, The Evil Within, Crysis 3, Metro: Last Light, Skyrim, Dead Island Riptide, Dying Light, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, and Minecraft (vanilla, modded, and on big servers) on medium to high (or higher) settings with 60 FPS, but for Minecraft, higher FPS like 100+. Some people recommended the AMD CPUs for my build on other sites, but I would rather use an Intel Core i5-4690 CPU (not the "k" version because I will not be overclocking). And for the GPU, I would like to use either the R9 280x or the GTX 970, whichever one is better. For the RAM, any good brand is fine, but I would like at least 8GB of memory with either 1x8gb stick or 2x4gb sticks. Any motherboard you guys recommend to me is fine, as long as it is a trusted and well-known brand with 4 RAM slots, I am not too familiar with everything about motherboards, so anything that isn't too expensive but compatible with all the other parts will do. If a CPU cooler is recommended, any is fine, again, as long as it is a trusted brand, and not too expensive. If I do not need one, then that is fine too. I will need a wireless adapter because my router is too far to connect via Ethernet cable. An optical drive, I know a lot of people say it is unneeded, but I don't mind having one just to be safe, and to install Windows and other programs like Microsoft Office. For the case, like before, anything that is with a good brand and not too expensive is fine. Monitor, a 24 inch is enough, with 1080p and 60hz. For the hard drive, 1TB should be enough, if you think otherwise, then please tell me how much you would recommend, and from WD or any other good brand is fine. The OS, I really like Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit a lot more than Windows 8, because basically all the features in Windows 8, I never use, but Win7 is easier and more organized in my opinion. In the end, I am hoping to not have to spend over $1000, but of coarse, I can go lower, as long as it fits what I am looking for. And if you know any better parts than the ones I said before, as long as it is for around the same price or less, please tell me. I think that is all the parts, but if there are any I forgot, please be sure to tell me too. The reason why I am asking you guys for help is because, I know what kind of parts I want, but I don't know what brands are the best and worth the price. Is monitor included in the price, it may make it hard to do all that, a good monitor like you described is around 200$. Also, if OS is included too, its going to be very hard. Its not that you have a small budget, but that you want to play all these new awesome games, at super high settings and frame rates. The hidden costs of a computer are quite a bit too. Monitor and OS, as well as keyboard and mouse. An i5 4690K and GTX 970, what I would recommend for what you want, is a little less than 600$ itself. That being said, your better bet would be a r9 280x, not as good but will do what you want on medium settings.

I left out the case, as its your personal preference. Anything by Corsair, Cooler Master, NZXT,or Fractal Design is good
