Help Building an Ivy Bridge Compatible Computer

Hey guys, I am building my first computer and have already had great feedback from this site in an earlier post. But, now, before I spend $1400, I am wondering about the compatibility of my system with future CPU's. Here is my current build plan:

I read somewhere that the new Ivy Bridge Processors will use the same socket: LGA 1155. Does this mean that if I ever feel the need, the want :D, in a few years to upgrade CPU's, will I be able too with this setup, even if it took a little tweaking? Thanks again you guys. :good:
 
assuming that it does use 1155, it will all depend on BIOS and chipset support.
You should be fine though. Assuming of coarse that your board will have BIOS support for IB.
 
It's hard to say what will be supported with what given a few years time, and how technology advances.
 
Asus have already released a Bios update for my board which claims to "support next generation 22nm processors" aswell as other features. So it's worth checking the bios updates for particular boards.
