Well I am planning on building a computer since futureshop and bestbuy sells for so high and such bad computers! I need the computer experts or just your help!
I need you guys to make a list of items I need to build a computer and put the links in. My budget is about $1100 Canadian! Please use www.tigerdirect.ca or some website that ships to Canada!

Requirements for computer!
4gb ram+
2.5ghz+
$200 video card+
Nice case that fits 6 fans+ (tower)
and anything else that is important.
Heatsink
ETC
Please don't use the barebones too cause there not that good!
I have the speakers, mouse, keyboard and screen covered so don't list those things please!

Thanks in advance for helping!

So by your requirements, I take it you want that in your computer?
And do you know whether you want AMD or Intel? And what graphics would you prefer, ATi, or nVidia?

I would perfer amd and is ati or nvidia better
and I heard asus mother boards are one of the best motherboards so I might want that

Ok, so we got AMD down. and if you go with amd I'd recommend going ati. But the nvidia cards include the phsyx and the memory is clocked higher

anyone wanna make me a list? Idc if it is newegg.ca or tigerdirect.ca just make me a list please! thanks
can anyone?

how does that cost all together could u put it on a public wishlist so i could see thanks!~
Something like $1100.93 CAD if i remember right, i dont have a newegg.ca account so i cant make a public wishlist of it.. Just add everything to card to check the price of it

His build is a AM3, yours is a AM2+ build. DDR3 vs. DDR2. His would be more upgradeable in the future.

Plus if you go with your build, use this board. Its a better board and 25 bucks cheaper. The board you picked, your paying extra for onboard video(which you will probably never use since your getting a 4890) and a lower quality power setup. That one has a 5 phase power setup, this one has a 10 phase seup.

ok thanks but would u recommend my build or his build?
Like i said, my list was just a starting point for you, but i suggest you keep at least the mobo, cpu, memory, and psu as those are pretty much the best for the price. Other things such as case, optical drives, hard drives, etc, go with what you prefer. For futureproofing, AM3+DDR3>AM2+/DDR2;)
