Help buying a new gaming computer

Hey guys, first time posting in here.

My computer is really old so I want to buy a new one. I will use it mainly for gaming, but I work on some programs like Photoshop, Flash and Visual Studio as well.

There's a store in my country where I can tell them which parts I want and they will build the computer for me and I think that it's the cheapest option. So if you guys can recommend a list of parts it would be awesome.

My budget it around $2000 but I'd rather not spend all of it if possible. I don't mind if I won't have the best possible parts out there as long as stuff will work pretty well.

Also, I have an hard disk that I'd rather not format. Is it possible to just move it to another computer or would you suggest just getting a new one or formatting it? I use windows XP now (yes, my computer is THAT ancient), should I just forget about it and install a new one or can I keep using it?

I know it's a lot of questions, sorry! Thank you for everyone who can help :)

Edit: I thought it would be useful for you guys to have the link to the store I want to buy from. You can see all the parts they sell there: http://en.ksp.co.il/?uin=16014&store=KSP03

Definitely get Windows 7/8.1 x64, otherwise you can't use more than 4GB RAM, which you will need for PS.

CPU: AMD FX-8350 with Noctua D14
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-990X-UD3
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1866MHz
GPU: ASUS GTX 770
Storage: Samsung 840 Evo 120/250GB + Seagate Barracuda / Western Digital 2TB
Case: Corsair Carbide 330R
PSU: Corsair VS650

Price on the site you linked: $1770 (Without a Windows copy)

Should be beast

FX-8320 and GA-970A-UD3 wasn't on their part list, otherwise I would've chosen them.

It should be noted that hardware is extremely expensive in Israel it seems. An FX-8350 costs $290 compared to $200 in the US.
