Also should I consider buying off the web(like newegg?) I would prefer to buy it from a store but.. if I can get a much better offer ill comsider it. Also i live in Canada

Any help greatly appreciated

uh, im guessing hes buying in CANADIAN dollars because he said hes from CANADA and he said hes looking to spend around $150, and the card you suggested is $180 US and that is $225 in canadian dollars (not saying it isnt a good card, but it might be a bit out of his price range?)

You could try the Radeon 9550. I'm getting one delivered today for World of Warcraft. It's quite cheap (around £50) and supposed to be really good.

ide still go for the 6600gt

Absolutely, but given the budget it might be hard to find one. Where i live the better brands starts at $175.

The 6600GT might look pretty good (and more expensive), but I went with the 9800Pro. I flashed it to the XT BIOS, and am gonna overclock it as high as possible. Seriously, if you do that I'm pretty sure it competes with the 6600GT. Plus it's got 256-bit memory, which nothing else has on the budget list. Maybe I'm being stupid about my choice, but if you really like tweaking things and are on a budget, look at that.

The 9600XT's great too, my dad's got one and it runs most things pretty smooth. It's considered one of the best bang-for-the-buck budget cards out there by a lot of people.

The 9550's a REALLY cheap card, and offers plenty of good features. Although for gaming I don't think it's too good, for the price it is great. It's like $130 US or less.
