"Help" Can't boot up my PC

Can't start my computer in normal or safe mode,it just keeps timing out and won't restart. The operating system is Windows XP home edition.

more information is needed, what exactly will it do, does it post, and just won't go into windows, if so try a repair install

To do a repair, Boot off your windows Cd. Keep watch down bottom of windows dos screen. Press R When Required

boot off the cd run setup again and when you get to the blue screen hit R
