help,can't burn wmv

Edited vacation video with Movie Maker,have wmv
file on PC.Try to burn it to CD or DVD,I get
"There is no disc in the drive".Have used 2
different prgms to burn,same response.
D drive plays any other CD.
Ideas pls??

Windows movie maker is a pain......i did a movie for my school, and i could not even play it....but btw, what softwear do you use to burn it to your DVD? if you are using Windows Media player, then we might had fund your problem. WMP does not suport every format...its quite picky.
 
If the blanks you are using are good quality they should be read as blanks by the drive. If you don't know if they are good or not, try a better brand. Try a 3 pack until you know they work OK.

Sounds like a drive problem rather than Movie Maker.
