HELP! Can't install anything!

I was in the middle of installing WoW when my computer froze and i had to do a hard restart. When i rebooted it said something like

"sorry, the uninstaller failed to start up." and something about maybe being out of hard drive space.

i have over 120 gigs of free space so that isnt it. No other games will install either. Any suggestions?

I think it has something to do with the windows installer or something.

I'm sorry to inform you that you probably will have to format in order to properly install the game now... Try just to reinstall, if it will let you. I had this problem when I tried to update Age of Empires 3 when I first got it, and had an error while updating. I couldn't uninstall or reinstall and just had to end up formatting the hard drive... :(

That exact same thing happened to me with AOE3, but I didn't have to reformat I just retried it many times (because I refysed to format my drive because i did it the day before) and after many tries it worked........:D

Good to hear it worked out for someone, I tried updating, installing or uninstalling many times. I think what screwed me was when it errored on update AND uninstall... :mad:
 
when i first inmstaled windows on my new comp using my old hard drive it showed up as a empty hard drive but the syetem check showed i only had 3 gigs of free space i had nothing in program files and could not find anything anywhere and caused a problem because i had a full hard drive of information i couldnt acces so i reinstaled my windows xp and i formated this time it wiped the hard drive clean was a bit of a pain to reinstal everything i sugest backing it up on dvds and then format
