help, cant sign into aim!

it gets up to number 2, which is veryfying name and password and it freezes and then says the aim service cannot be reached.... then i tried logging into another s/n and it works fine! anyone know what the problem is? i've already tried typing in my password again to make sure its right, restarted my computer, turned off my computer and waited like 10min to turn it back on, and turned off my router for like 10min and turned it back on, but i still cant log in. help please

Try reinstalling aim, or upgrade to the latest version. Try your non working username on another computer.

Maybe somthing is wrong with your account, or maybe it is just AIM.

Ya you need to reinstall AIM. That did the trick for me.
