Ok guys with all these new good games coming out I am about to buy a new CPU using Pricewatch.com

Just so you know I got a 19 widescreen moniter.

I want to be able to play
UT3
Crysis
COD4
at great Frames Per Second. And Great Quality.

This is what I selected so far. All Prices with Shipping

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Black Edition 3.2GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Socket AM2 - 208.50
GIGABYTE GA-M57SLI-S4 AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard - 89.99
Transcend 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desk Memory - 69.98
eVGA e-Geforce 8800GTS - 270.00
WESTERN DIGITAL WD5000YS CAVIAR RE2 500GB 3.5Inch 7200 RPM 16MB SATA 3.0G - 53.50

Now I just need a case and PS.

I got one issue. I got a cabnit where I store my computer which has no room for air flow. The issue bigger than that is I only got a 18 inch gap to put the Case. I currently have this case
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811119047

Which says the height is 17.2 and I got about a half inch to spare and I got the rubber feet off.

Please I would like someone to help me select a case that is good and will fit into the needed area.

Also PLEASE if you see anything I have listed that doesn't sound right or you would improve on without going up drastically in price please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You won't be playing Crysis at max. with that GPU. I would rather go for the 8800GT 512MB or wait for the new 8800GTS based on the G92 core.
And isn't it better to wait for the quad core of the AMD? Or better yet, go for the dual core of the Intel. They are better. I think the E6850 is a very good dual core CPU. With that, you could play Crysis very smoothly.
