Help Choosing Processor

Hi,
I am building a budget system and was wondering which CPU to buy. I will have an Asus P4SP-MX motherboard. It has a 533Mhz FSB.
I am wondering whether to buy the Celeron 2.4Ghz or the Celeron D 2.4GHz.
My motherboard should support the Celeron D because it supports the higher 533Mhz FSB but I am worried whether I am missing something here?
The Celeron D is priced cheaper (I am going by ebuyer) and yet it seems much better in comparison (Higher FSB and L2 cache). Will this be compatible with my Motherboard?
Also I was thinking of overclocking the normal celeron as it only uses 400Mhz FSB but will I be able to OC the Celeron D on my mobo? Or will the Celeron D outperform an OC'd Celeron anyway without overclocking?
Any help on this matter is appreciated
Thank you for your time

1. The Celeron is discontinued. Its been replaced by the CeleronD
2. The Celeron runs on a 400MHz bus ... and thus you wouldnt be able to take advantageof the 533MHz one on the mobo you've got there

Will this be compatible with my Motherboard?
Surprisingly, yes (i would think so)

1. You can OC
2. OCing wont do much good simply because of the design of Intel processors: they require cache and they require clockspeed ... a lot of both. While you can up the clockspeed, you cant do anything to help the amount of cache :)
