my computer seems to be running a bit slower at times... i'm sure that i have some crap on here that i could do without.. maybe i could get some advice on what to get rid of.. here's my hjt log.. what do you guys think...

i may or may not have a virus adware or maybe nothing at all... i ran norton, spybot, ad aware, the panda thing and all that.. but seems like somethings off.. occasionally... definately some programs that are slowing my system down.. which may or may not be associated with some ill files.. don't know.. i have on occasion seen this wierd green glob thing in the corner.. kind of like the screen was peeled back and i was looking at a liquid version of the matrix.. any ideas.. i went to delete the temp. internet files.. it froze up and the 15,000 weren't there instead there were 17,000 from last year.. wierd.. any ideas..

From your HJT log there wasnt any thing like spyware on there that I noticed. The best way to really speed up your computer is to save everything and reformat. If you have a lot of programs in the lower right corner by the clock, you can try closing some or prevent them from starting up (start > run type 'msconfig' then click the startup tab. just make sure you dont uncheck anything you dont know what it is).

I will confirm, I did not see anything bad... But a lot of toolbars.. Yahoo, google..

Post a pic of tyhe green blob.
 
i will try to capture the green glob.. but.. its pretty elusive... usually when the computer is inactive.. haven't seen it in a while.. also just had a about:blank pop blank window.. that's not really frequent.. but it has happened.. don't really have any issues with pop ups other then that.. could that be something.. (the about:blank).. or nothing to worry about..
