My friend just dropped his computer at my house telling me that his computer is turning on and off by itself. I first thought it was the good old infamous virus (shutting o/s off in a min or so) but it seems like its a hardware problem.
The computer turns on and off by itself every 1~2 seconds even before any boot sequence come up on the screen. My first guess was PSU but I was wrong. (put a new one there but the problem resists) My second guess is the switch and/or mobo but I don't know where to begin with that. or would it be something else?
I need help to figure this out.
