mmm... sounds like a nice piece of kit your layin your hands on there. But why use that many HDDs?? why not stick to 1 or 2, and I've heard RAID is good although I havn't upgraded to it yet.
I have a Thermaltake tower, but I found that the variable resistors to the extra fans are not that good, the displays nice and all but I've modded mine so i can switch the extra fans on/off so it shuts it up a bit when i'm not using it at full chat!
I'll try and have a look for a mobo that'll suit your bits and bobs...

thnx a ton dude, but heres my theory behind the hdd's. in my current computer i have that 120 its got all my stuff on it, wut im planing on doing is buying the tower first moving all my stuff in my current computer into this new tower and then slowly upgrade everything, and i was just going to go with the 74 gb hdd's but i thought it would be alot easier to just keep the 120 as well, and im upgrading the tower first cuz i currently got a mid tower, need more space.
thnx again

(blue lcd in psu)
I'm assuming you mean LED, and I don't think its a good idea to buy a PSU based on lighting. Use cold cathodes or LED fans if you must. You could get a Thermaltake Pure Power 520, an OCZ PowerStream or ModStream, or what I have is a Silverstone Zues 520. Active PFC and dual 12V are things that you'll find on higher end PSUs. Also look at the connections you need- PCIe X16, SATA power connections, 4 pin molex etc.

As for the hard drives, I wouldn't really recommend 2*74 GB 10,000 rpm drives in RAID0, unless you've got the money to burn. There won't be much performance increase and there's the danger of the RAID going bad and losing all data.

For the mobo, I've usually gone with Abit or Asus for P4 boards. I'd have to know your price limit/computer use to really recommend one though.

well, im a gamer, and i play far cry, cod, alot of graphic intensive stuff, wut raid set up would u reccomend then? ya i meant led (feeling retarded, lol)
peace

My recommendation would be to use a single 74 GB Raptor - it's safer than RAID0, its fast enough for most people, and generally its enough to store all your programs/games. If you must, you can get two 80 GB 7200 rpm drives and set them up as RAID0; its much cheaper and the performance increase when going to 2 Raptors isn't all that great. Then use your other 120 GB drive for storing files and stuff.

alright thnx, also, i was gunna get the shark tower from thermaltake but its a tower based on water cooling, i need a full tower, flashy is good. so any suggestions?
