help computer turn on but no display

hey, well basicially i switch the hardware out of the old case to new case. The thing is my new case, i found out the button switch was defective because i took to a computer repair and they found out it was the button switch. And the motherboard appear on their monitor after they using a cheap graphic card. So i took home i put all the parts in it. I worked on rubber, and grounded myself by touching the power supply plugged into the wall. I finally finish and turn it on, everything runs but i see nothing on the monitor???

I also get 3 beeps code then 1 after.

The only thing i didnt add to my computer from the old case was the floppy drive, i left it out.

all i can say is try removing the ram, one stick at a time (if that applies)

Check what kind of motherboard you have, then look on the internet for manual for it, or if you still have it yourself check it out. What your looking for is what that specific string of beeps mean, cause they all mean something.
 
i got the computer to work once. I used the second slot, but it was closed to the soundcard, so i tried slot 1 again even with the second one, and now i get the beep. mobo is sli.
