Hi, I'm new at the forum and I'm from Argentina, so my english is not that good, I appollogize. Also I'm a newby in this posting and forum things, and don't know too much about computers, just the necessary. So I come to you, in seek of your knowledge. I was in need of mb lately so I started to erase movies and songs and files, and I became aware of the fact that I had a " Content.IES " folder, in the " Internet Temporary Files " folder, with plenty of megabytes, almost 300 hundred mb, so I would like to know if I can erase the files in that folder. Most of them are pictures and text buttons, but I would like to know if I can erase them, like manually, or if there is a way, or at least if my computer will crush if I erase some of those files. Because I tried erasing one of them and the whole screen turned grey, so I moved it again to the folder and everything went normal.

Thank you very much for your patience. Hping to get an answer, thanks vey much!

Well, I speak spanish if it helps. Let me see if I have anything of the sort but I highly doubt anything in a Temporary Folder is very important. What kinda stuff is in there? And I just searched my pc, no such folder exists. Well, you can just burn it to cd, then delete it off your hard drive. If nothing bad happens great, if something bad happens, you have it on cd :)

Thanks very much.

OK, thanks for replying. Here is the thing: I had Windows 95 in the D drive and Windows XP in the C, so I erased Windows 95 from the D drive, and all the internet temporary files from when I had the Windows 95 remained there, and there is a lot, so I was thinking of formatting the D drive, is there a problem with that, if I have Windows XP on the C drive, I should be able of making a format D, or not?? Also the, Documents and Setting folder has lots of MB, in the C and the D, aaa, I thinkg Ill format eveything...Thanks once again for replying.

Bye. Thanks. Alejandro.
