HELP! DVD Drive closes on its own

i have this new drive. it has worked for almost 2 months with no problems. suddenly when i opened it is closed on its own. its annoying cause im just about to insert or take out a disc and it closes. i think its a software problem since i went into bios and tried it and it worked. sometimes it works allright but not for long.

please help with this issue, is really annoying

just to let everyone know i have sent it back to the manufacturer and am waiting for a replacement. I dont know if the mods want to close this thread or anything.
