HELP! Error Parity Check 2

i turned my computer on for the first time since march OLD OLD computer (i have been using my brothers cus he left it for me to use over the summer)
and when i turned it on i just had a black screen with writing that say

Parity Check 2_

Try re seating the memory. It might have come loose over time.

The Error "parity error" basically means a malfunction has occurred somewhere in the PC's memory (RAM).

In most instances, a parity error can be traced to a defective RAM chip or one that is seated poorly in its socket.

Remove ram, Let it sit for half n hour or so.

Blow off all Dust from Slots and On Ram itself

Reseat Firmly.
