Help for a new computer build

Hi All,

I am building a small case low-profile computer.
I am not running any games, but I want my computer to be small and quiet.
I don't care too much about the temperature, but don't want it too hot.

CPU- i3-3220 (ivy bridge)
RAM- Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600MHz 4GB x 2
Motherboard- GA-H77N-WIFI
Case- Sugo SG06B-USB3.0 (with built-in 300W power)
SSD- Samsung 840Pro 128GB
HDD- Seagate Barracuda 2TB

1. Are all parts compatible?

2. Is 300W enough for the system?

3. Do you say it would be quite for my purpose?

4. I was told the Haswell i3 will be available this fall. Do I want to get it? Or, would ivy bridge enough?

Thank you in advance!

1. Yes.

2. Maybe, but the PSU is crappy. Get a better case and better PSU. A good setup would be the Cooler Master Elite 120 and a Corsair CX430M.

3. Yes.

4. Wait for Haswell. It will require a LGA1150 motherboard though, so you can't use the board you selected.

Thank you for your comments!

Regarding the case, I am looking for a small one (I would say elite 120 is a little bigger than sg06).
By saying PSU is crappy, did you mean I might need more W?
SG06 also offers 450W built-in PSU. Does it look okay?

When stating a PSU is crappy, it's a crappy brand. It's not all about wattage, it's about who manufactured it, what components they use, are the cap's cheap and going to fail quickly?
Is this PSU really producing 400 watts?

Most none brand named power supplies will not produce the advertised power, will use cheaper components that wear out more quickly, thus causing power issues, surges, and could zap your system.

I've used the same Antec Earthworks 650 Watt PSU for going on three years now. Not saying you can't get decent cheap PSU's, I've had two Emachine Desktops which never had any power supply failure, will say I was lucky.

There are a number of decent PSU makers out there, Antec is just my preferred brand. However I know in recent years other companies have entered the PSU market, XFX is among one of them that I know of first hand.

I've read somewhere that 90% of all PC related issues/failures are PSU related. Was PC gamer, Maximum PC, or CPU. Can't remember exactly.

+1 to what Currency said. A CM elite 120 is not going to be that much bigger. It's tiny, I have seen it in person.

Ok, I have a comment that the silverstone built-in PSU would be fine.
Let me also take that into consideration.

xMackx, for now, I am waiting for Haswell i3.
Let me post how it performs once I build one.

Thanks!
