Help Getting Faster Speed

I have an older Toshiba Tecra 8100 and the motherboard/processor is locked in at 700 MHz and I have maxed out the RAM (512 MB). Is their anything I can do to increase the speed of this laptop???

I was looking in the overclocking sticky and was wondering when the computer says the speed is locked in at 700 MHz, that means that the motherboard will only allow that speed, right? So if I could find someone with enough skill to overclock the motherboard and the CPU, would that do the trick?

It is a laptop, so it would be a bad idea anyway

Could I swap out the motherboard?

Not easily, and it would be useless, because you would have to replace pretty much everything else, and it would give you a slightly better laptop for the same price that you could buy a new one. That is assuming that you could get the case open and could find compatible parts. Laptops really aren't user servicable except for things like RAM or PCMCIA cards.
