Help! HDD Problem

I have a 250GB hard drive. When I look at properties in My Computer it says that I only have 127GB hard drive space max. What is the problem? Thanks.
 
well some mobos can only support so much hdd space try to find out in ur manual or on google buts its usually the really really crappy ones or the old ones that can only suppport so much so i dunno :-/
 
did you build the computer or is it from a company?

if it was from a company it could be partitioned in which case there is software you can download to remove the partition(cant remember the name of it).
 
I have a brand new Intel 865PERL mobo which can support up to a TB if I wanted and no I did not buy it from a company.

Classic problem.
1. Make sure you have SP1
2. Make more partitions, they will be limited to 128GB though :)
