I just finished my new build and ive run into a problem.
im using the pc connected through hdmi to lcd tv.
graphics card is radeon hd 4650 ultimate.
when i connect it to my sony lcd in the living room the hdmi audio is fine but when i connect it to my lg lcd tv in the bedroom there is no sound.
im running windows 7 64 bit.
when i go into sound properties the device shows up as working ok,but when i right click and test sound it says "another device is using audio,please close any devices using audio......"
it works on the sony tv but not the lg,
im convinced the lg tv is somehow preventing the pc from outputting the audio.
ive reinstalled windows while connected to the lg but still nothing
any ideas?
