Help! How do I shutdown or switch users in Win10?

I installed Win 10 today and I finally got my user account working, but I had to manually shut down the computer to switch to my wife’s account. Only problem is that nothing works in her account so I’ve shut down the computer with the power switch 3 times and each time it comes up in my wife’s desktop where nothing works not even the start button.

I've had to use an old Vista computer just to get on line.

If I remember correctly there should be a way to restore the computer to the a restore point before I installed Win10, but I don't remember how.

Well after rebooting about 40 times by holding down the computer power button each time, the “start button” and the “task bar” finally started working. I don’t have a clue as to what fixed the problem, but I am able to switch users and shut down through the Start button.

The only control I had throughout the whole day was moving the mouse pointer around and it was stuck in my wife's user window every time. There was no way to go online or even go into the control panel. I guess it’s now called “settings. I hate it when they change names of things that’s been around for a long time, but I guess settings is more logical than control.

Anyway everything is working great now and I’m undecided if I’m going to remove Win10 at this point although I wish I knew what happen. I still hate Apps, but maybe I will eventually get used to it.
