Help! I can not burn onto my new CD/DVD!

I bought two LG CD/DVD ROM burners and I cannot get any of them to work.
The BIOS can see them but, I cannot burn anything to them. One of the CD/DVD ROM is sata and the other is IDE.

I can only open the one that is enabled to burn. For some reason I cannot enable both to burn in the propriety settings.

Very weird!!!
 
What is the model number of the burners. I ask because your say DVD/CD rom/burner. Sure you didnt get two DVD/CD readers?

I am using Windows XP Pro. I am only trying to burn CDs right now. I have not even got to DVDs yet. I know I would need Nero or something like that to burn DVDs but for now I am only doing CDs.

I did get the IDE drive to work but I can't get the Sata one to work yet.:mad:
 
In My Computer it calls it, "DVD-RAM Drive F" (the sata drive). The hard drive that I am running my OS on is a sata hard drive so I know that there are sata drivers installed.

Also there is nothing in the Device Manager that has a yellow question mark next to it. All drivers are installed.

What is the deal! Do I just have a bum drive?
