I can't download certain files in IE, Firefox or chrome. Some downloads start, but then they often get stuck at 300-400 kb. Some other files are ok. Eg. I can never download Java 64-version from filehippo.com, whereas CCleaner is good to go from filehippo.com

I have tried with IE, Firefox and chrome.
Connection is wireless
Tried with no firewall, no antivirusprogram.
My other computer (also wireless) downloads ok.
Tried different drivers to network adapter.
Everything else works great.

What can I do?

Are you using a wired or wireless connection? Can you give me model number of pc this is and what operating system you are using?

So you are using a wireless adapter and the dlink website doesn't even show it supports windows 7. What drivers did you download and install? Most likely you will need a new adapter that supports windows 7.

Windows 7 is supported and uses built-in driver. See http://www.dlink.com.au/tech/Download/download.aspx?product=DWL-G122&revision=REV_C&filetype=Drivers

I have tested the other drivers to (for xp and such). No difference.

The weired thing is that some files are ok to download.
