HELP! I Think My PSU Blew!

one day i went to turn on my mom's pc, and when i pluged it in from the back, i heard a cracking-popping noise, and everytime i turn it on, i hear the same noise.

O.O Um...I would't be trying to cut it on and off if you get that kind of sound from the computer, unless you are trying to fry it!

About all you can do is replace the PSU and see if it still works.
