I have a amd 64 x2 3800+, 2 gig of ram, nVidia geForce 6100 GPU

my main problem is with GTA games. I have Vice City, at fitst it was running fine and then i tired installing a batmobile mod which i didnt really know how to but i did it and after that the game speed is really really fast. This happens to me on GTA SA also. I dont really care about SA but i want to play VC with normal running speed. Everything in the game is really really fast i cant really play it well. Cant see the cut scenes b/c of that either. What can i do to fix this? I tried reinstalling Vice but nothing changed.

Well it sounds as though it happened because of the mod that you installed. Obvious solution would be to reinstall it. There may be a config file somewhere in the install directory. If so then open it up and have a look see if there are anything you can change that will affect time.

but reinstalled it twice now and nothing :(
That is strange considering it sounds like this just started happening after you installed the mods... Just a thought, When you removed the game did you delete what might have been left in the original directory? Many times when you install add ons and such they don't get removed when you remove the software.

Yes, make sure that you click on the option to remove all saved games and everything like that. Plus, you might have something funky going on with your registry that the mod isn't getting taken out of there completely, either...

That also occurred to me as well and is likely.

Get a registry cleaner program that should be able to search through and remove and unnessary files in your registry. (Do a search on download.com, or get the full Ad-Aware or Spy Sweeper propgram for $30)

this is wierd now sometimes its normal and other times its really fast when its fast the computer is really loud. usualy its normal when i first turn on the pc. idk if that has anything to do w/ it

Hmm..., have you done a malware (virus, adware, spyware...) check recently? If not, now would be a good time to do it :)
