Help installing XP

I tried to install XP on my bros computer and it gave me an error in the middle of the installation so we gave up for that day... Well everytime he boost up his computer he can chose from starting Xp Pro or XP Pro Installation Setup... Well I tried again today and when i tried to delete the only partition. It gave me this error

SETUP IS UNABLE TO PERFORM THE REQUESTED OPERATION ON THE SELECTED PARTITION. THIS PARTITION CONTAINS TEMPORARY SETUP FILES THAT ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION.

Is there a way I can delete all the old installation files from the other day, when we tried to install it? Thank you!
 
NEVERMIND. I just chaged the boot order from the floppy being first to the cd-rom and let the cd boot up during restart. I was able to delete the partition then! Thanks guys!:P
