One option could be just uninstalling the program if you don't need it.

Second option is going into your program files, finding the original exe file, and putting it in a folder, and make that folder invisible. Then she wouldn't be able to access the program.

Last option is something I'm not sure of, it may work, may not.

What you do is Make a separate user account in Windows, and making her a limited user, therefore, you may be able restrict the use of certain programs for that user.

Yes, you can reboot in safe mode or use CACLS to change the permissions on it to deny access.

Here's a similar thread that might be useful........

How Can I Keep My Roomate Off My Computer?

But that is an all or nothing solution. The person either has *no* access to the computer, or complete control of it. If you have XP professional, you can simply create separate user accounts (you being the Administrator; everyone being Limited Users), right click on the folder you want to protect, and change the security settings to deny access to all but Administrators. If you have XP Home edition, you'll have to reboot in safe mode to change the permissions, or use the cmd line cacls command. If your sister isn't all that computer savvy, and you have XP Home edition, then you could also simply use the CACLS cmd to deny access to the file to everybody, and then change it back in safemode when you need access to it. Which operating system do you have?
