Help me build my first computer :)

Ok well I just spent 20 minutes typing this up and i accidentally hit the backspace key and went back a page time to start over FML. Well anyways can anyone advise on my choice of parts for my first computer and if they are compatible? Hopefully before Black Friday ends :) I'm trying to build a computer that is good for watching HD media and maybe some pretty good gaming quality. Oh and I don't have much money to spend i'm 15 and i don't have a job. All help is appreciated.

This Micro ATX motherboard has all of the on-board chips and a couple PCI express and 2.0. I know you cant update the video card but if anything i would replace the motherboard after a year or so.

The PSU has 500W, 2x SATA connectors, 1x 20+4 pin power connector, 1x 120mm fan, 1x 6 pin PCI-E connector. Is this sufficient? Oh and what do you think of the case?

DVD/CD Player ???
Hmmm I have an old, old DVD and CD player (seperate) but is it compatible with SATA? Or should i just get a cheapy $16 player to be safe?

This all adds up to $427.... Thats including cheapy CD player and 1GB ram. ( I can always upgrade) So please sorry for going on so long but i really need the help. Are they all compatible, is it sufficient for gaming/multitasking? Thank You!!! :):):)

Oh yea if i forgot any components let me know. either i forgot or i already have it like keyboard, mouse, speakers etc.

for $74, the Athlon II x3 445 is a better beal than the 440 or 450, and it's amove up in cpu.
do you have a budget amount?
dont think that ob4200 will suffice, but can't say because i dont play that game(s)
is your cd/dvd sata or ide?

I really want it to be less than $500 and yea i understand ram and thinking of 4GB ram. I'm losing hope fast about building a comp instead of a premade one :(

is on sale for $400 and i could buy a 19" monitor for only $89. No shipping costs either xD Gotta love newegg. Is the gaming computer over the top? I'm not a hardcore gamer but more of a casual.

Cheaper to buy or make a computer? >.<
 
Well if anyone has some good builds less than $500 dollars (including everything + monitor) I guess good for maybe some HD movies and CASUAL gaming let me know :)

will do somes games. won't do graphically intense games real well. you'll need a video card for that.

All quality parts. Nothing low end. Pretty sure it the best x3 phenom II amd makes. Your cd/dvd will fit this motherboard whether is sata OR ide. :)

Might want to add a 5670 or GTS 450 to the build, I have an 880G board an the onboard isn't too great unless you go overclocking it, then it can actually play things like counterstrike on decent settings (not maximum though)
