help me build SLi/gaming pc

hi, i'm new here.can u give me some advise or recomendation on how to build a good sLi or gaming pc.my friend had built me a pc.these are the specs..

processsor: intel pentium D
RAM : 512 Mb (kingston)
HD : 80 Gb SATA (maxtor)
motherboard: MSi 865GVM3-V
VGA card : n-vidia geforce fx5500
monitor : benQ 17" LCD monitor

i still not satisfied with my PC.i dreamed to build a new pc to satisfy me...please help me..

in USD it will be around USD800 plus...u can recommend me to buy it where u think it will be the best.the budget is not include for monitor....:)
