can u advice me a good model and brand
i want
any core 2 duo processor or core duo
1 gb ram or 512
256mb graphic card
can u give a laptop exact model with the above config ranging frm 1000-1250 bucks
pls give me tha model number pls for example dell m1210
 
thanx both r awesome and can u suggest which one is better acoording to performance the other one is quite nice for vista as it has dx10 compatibility as it has nvidia 8 series graphic card
 
I must say that the laptop that Bramp picked out is very good, while over budget. Go for that because it's got DX10.

Yeah sorry about it being over budget, I just thought that it looked really good for only a little bit more, if you can afford I think it would be better to go for a santa rosa.

HP or either Dell now I heard has santa rosa you can preconfigure on their website. I would however say look into ASUS or Lenova, or maybe even Compal.
