hi this are my system specification:

processor:3.00 gigahertz AMD Athlon II X2 250
Board: ASUSTeK Computer INC. M2N68-AM Plus Rev X.0x
powersupply: RS600-PCAR-E3(600 wats i am assuming)
memory: 2048 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory

i need help buying a new video card for it, my old card NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX recently died, my budget is $120-$150

yea just fine, they will run in DX9 not 11 but will work fine, but you might want to look at Windows 7, its a great OS

i know, hopefully soon btw both cards seem almost equally powerful, between GTS 450 and powercooler 5770 which one is better and will last longer?

5770 is faster the GTS450 trades blows with the 5750, there is the GTS460SE but i havnt seen much info on it, but it might be comparable to a 5770

It's a CoolerMaster eXtreme 600w unit... Not the best but not the worst. It should be fine with a 5770.

thanks for the info, btw i also have a sound card(Creative SB X-Fi) installed on one pci slot on my motherboard, now if i install this new video card on pci-E slot do u think they( the graphics card and sound card) will be too close to each other and might cause the graphics card to heatup fast?

should i takeout the sound card and just use on board motherboard sound instead?
