Help me buy a sony laptop

Hi guys i'm thinking of buying a sony vaio laptop for gaming and movies.

My Budget is 45 to 55k INR = 800 to 1000 USD.

Laptops in india are costly because of transfer charges.

My minimum reqs are:

1. i5 or i7 with LCD screen 14 inch or more
2. 500gb or more with 7200rpm hard disk.
3. DDR3 4gb or more ram with 1333 clock or more.
4. 2gb dedicated (nVidia or AMD) graphic card
5. win 7 or 8 x64
6. realtek audio card with s/pdif audio port
7. A fast wifi card, if possible, for streaming movies through network drive
8. Any thing else u guys can think of in my budget :p

I'm thinking of something like Sony Vaio E Series SVE15128CN BUT it does not have an lcd screen or realtek audio.

So please share your views as i'm not aware of the latest best selling sony laptops.

1. Don't buy laptop for gaming, you will get a middle level laptop at that budget as it won't have a good GPU, get a desktop if portability is not required. You will surely get one with good specs.
2. If laptop is the only option then why you only want a Sony laptop? Bad idea, it is a bit overpriced in India for its specs. Better buy this http://in.asus.com/Notebooks/Multimedia_Entertainment/N55SF/#specifications

Really don't see why you will buy sony over this.

Thats why i'm going for sony. So please help me buy sony laptop.

And yes i need only laptop because i travel a lot.
 
Post the customization that you did and how are you on the USA sony site? sony.co.in is the official Indian site.

My customization:
1. 3rd gen Intel® Core™ i7-3632QM quad-core processor
2. AMD Radeon™ HD 7550M (2GB) dedicated graphics
3. 500GB (5400rpm) hard drive
4. Seafoam White colour

I did go through your recommendations but the one in the usa site has a bigger screen for lower price.
 
Few things to note here, are you sure Sony USA will ship the laptop to Hyderabad? The GPU you selected is very weak for gaming, latest games won't run on it, decent for movies, the HDD is very slow. The processor is very fast which you won't need for movies, but good for gaming.
 
I have relatives in usa who can purchase it and bring it here coz sony does not ship outside usa.

The only game i ever liked was NFS Most wanted black edition. I'll play the games that it'll play, no issues with that.

My main interest is in movies and video playback coz i watch a lot of movies so i need that big screen.

Yes i know the hdd is on the slower side, but i'll replace that in the future.

For movies, an i3 will be enough, it can play NFS quite well too, you can save money there.
